Pizza Oven Cover

Not an advertisement!

Just wanted to share this awesome custom cover we recently bought for our Cortile Barilr oven. I’m sure you all have experienced wet ovens due to storms, and then of course, having to take at least twice as long to get the oven to temp and all those other problems with a wet oven floor.

Cover was ordered from AlcoCovers.com under pizza custom covers with the heavy duty 18oz vinyl. Hubs is the main cook, and he absolutely enjoyed not having to do drying fires that used up so much fuel. It did take about 3 weeks for the cover to come, from order confirmed to our front door. Be very precise with your measurements, and I would advise adding an extra inch or two for your exhaust portion. Other than that, it fits like VERY well and very much worth the $180.

Thanks so much for sharing this, and of course happy to hear you are getting such good use out of your oven! I recall how carefully you researched before and during your build.

Wow! That’s great. I wish I would of knew about this 5 years ago. I built walls a a metal roof to keep mine dry. This is a money and time saver.

Here is a more specific link to the AlcoCovers web site section. This brings you to the “Style 8 Pizza Oven Cover” ordering page, which as @loveadrenalinh says is a starting point for ordering your cover. It includes measuring directions and as she says measure carefully! Our ovens start from a set of standard plans, but I know from long experience that each of them varies, especially in how the chimney is placed and constructed. (EDIT: Yes, I know the headline below says “Style 3” but the link takes you to Style 8. Technology, whatcha gonna do?)

Thank you Matt!
And yes, that is the correct link! (thanks again Matt!)
The creases on the cover due to packaging folding does go away after a few weeks of use! And I agree with you Tommy. I wished I known of it earlier, but a cover was finally found after 2 years!
