Practice pizza and a cake!

We did a practice pizza today (frozen) ans then i did a chocolate cake in a cast-iron pan. Outcome, cornmeal that I used on the peel ended up burning on the floor of the oven. I waited about an hour and did the cake, turned out good, could have waited longer to put it in. Or maybe take it out sooner .

Looks like a good bake, Norm!

Many of us are using semolina flour rather than cornmeal to avoid the scorching problem. It behaves a little like cornmeal and works well to slide pizza off the peel.
