Types of Exterior Veneer for your BrickWood Oven or BrickWood Box

THIN BRICK – Have you ever been to a store or restaurant and noticed the beautiful brick on the building’s exterior walls … or have you seen a unique interior display featuring a colorful brick wall? Those brick are most likely Thin Brick Veneer.

Brick Veneer is made with the exact same materials and manufacturing processes as full-size brick. It looks like real brick, feels like real brick and tastes like real brick – because IT IS REAL BRICK! Just thinner.

NATURAL or MANUFACTURED THIN STONE – This durable and easy to install type of veneer offers many design opportunities as it comes in many shapes, colors and sizes. KEEP IN MIND – this type of veneer CAN NOT EXCEED 3/4" in thickness on the BrickWood Box!

IF THE VENEER IS THICKER THAN 3/4", THE BRICKWOOD BOX HITCH POSTS WILL NOT FIT INTO THE HITCHES!

TILE – Tile can be a tricky veneer to work with. Not because of the installation process (which is actually a breeze), but due to the fact that tile has been so widely used in public bathrooms. You have to be careful when selecting tile– you are walking a fine-line between creating an artful BrickWood Box exterior… or matching the bathroom at McDonalds. Also, the heat from your Lower Oven can affect the glaze on most tile, so try to use UNGLAZED / NATURAL TILE if you use tile as your veneer.
