Hello, I’m finishing up my Mattone Cupola and noticed the door shipped the kit fits behind the chimney. When I look at photos of other kits the door sits in front of the chimney. My question is where is the correct location for the door and if it comes in front of the chimney, do I have the wrong door?

The door of the CUPOLA model sits BEHIND the chimney vent. This way, you can seal the entire oven (retaining all the heat) without the need of a damper.
On earlier models - the door sat in front of the chimney, but on the newer models, the door sits inside the oven opening and completely seals the oven.
