So my original wooden handles were shot so I decided I would make some out of some 1.5” copper pipe I had laying around. With the hangars I used to mount them to the door the heat doesn’t transfer so they don’t get hot to the touch.
This was my main concern when thinking about building them but I was going to put exhaust header wrap around them if they did get hot but that doesn’t seem to be an issue.
